The Most wonderful time, of the year!!!!

Today was back to school. The kids had butterflies in their stomachs and were so nervous getting their stuff ready the night before. They were up early and ready to go. We will see how long that lasts. They all looked so cute and I was so happy to see them off!!!! Payton is a big 6th grader this year, too cool to walk to class with me and Sadie is in 4th. She is quite excited about the fact her teacher is our next door neighbor. Zeke is in 2nd and is quite worried he won't know anything but I assured him that he would learn and not to worry. He is so my kid. Poor thing!! I hope all you mother's out there had a great first day too!! I know I did!!

JONAS BROS!!!!!

Okay, so anyone who has a pre-teen knows how the Jonas Brothers are the biggest thing out there. I worked the other night with a friend that was bragging that she had bought tickets to see them in concert and it got me thinking. I checked and found some available and with Jaime we devised a plan to surprise the girls and take them to the concert in LA. We spent the day shopping at the Glendale Galleria. I then told them we were going to drive over to downtown LA to see my new office building and drive around. We drove down the street from my office and parked by the Staples center. When we were getting out the girls were saying, "Mom those people have Jonas Bros shirts on." I just blew it off and we continued to walk over saying lets go check it out and see what is going on. There were people everywhere and some guy on a corner offered to sell 1 jonas bro ticket. Immediately the girls were saying we need to buy it. We were teasing them that who would we give the ticket too? So, we walked over and were standing around and said we would see what the deal was. They were confused and kept saying if we aren't staying why are we standing here. I said lets get to the front and see about buying a ticket. Then they opened some doors around the side and everyone rushed over there to get in. We walked past the ticketbooth and the girls asked why weren't stopping and if we had tickets. That's when Jaime and I told them we have tickets and they were soooo excited. Sadie started crying and hugging me. It was hilarious. As you can see our seats were way high but the concert was really good and was so much fun. It was soooooo loud in there when the boys came out. The girls were sooooooo excited. It was a great time!!

Sadie's face when she thought we weren't going in.
