Notre Dame vs. Stanford

Anyone who knows Teddy, knows he loves Notre Dame. It has been a disappointing year for him but he loves them just the same. We went up to Stanford for the last game and here are a few pics. After the game we were walking out and the buses were lined up to take the players to the airport. We started hanging out with all the player's family members and then the players started coming out to say hi to friends and family. Some of those guys were HUGE!! Teddy was in heaven pointing out all the stars. Number 5 is Manti Teo and yes, he is Mormon. He looks just like Teddy and he is one of Teddy's favorite players. It was a lot of fun. We will see what happens next year!!

Oral Language Festival

Payton had oral language today. She was in the verse choir for her school. They competed against all the other Bakersfield City schools. They won first place. It was the only serious piece and was quite emotional. Congrats!!

Camp Keep

Payton is a sixth grader and every year the school goes to Camp Keep for a week. It was her first time away from home without any family for that long. Teddy was a little nervous and was concerned about not being able to call and check on her but the time flew by and she was back before we really realized she was gone. Here are a few shots she took. She took lots of pictures of the sky, trees, birds, etc... typical 11 year old stuff. I tried to find a few that I thought she would appreciate seeing later on. She has a few of her crazy friends, the campsite and a few animals. We are glad she is back :)

Halloween Party

This year Jaime was kind enough to have a Halloween party. Here are a few pictures. We were so busy having a great time that I forgot to take more pictures. We had lots of yummy food and then went trick or treating around the neighborhood. The kids had a great time hanging with cousins!

Caelyn Halloween Carnival

Caelyn's preschool had a Halloween carnival today. She was so excited because yesterday I bought cookies for it and she wanted them. I told her she had to wait because they were for her Halloween party. So, when she woke up this morning the first thing she said was, "Are my cookies ready for me to eat them at my Halloween party?" She looked pretty dang cute and had a great time in the jumpy house and going from activity to activity. Here are just a few shots.

Sadie Dance Recital

Sadie's magnet group had a little dance recital last night. They were celebrating artists from the civil war era, hence the costumes. She always has the funniest smile.

Payton Shakespeare Festival

Shakespeare Festival

Payton was in a Shakespeare festival this weekend for her drama class at Magnet. She was pretty cute. They competed with high school kids and I think they did a pretty good job. Here is the link to youtube to see her performance. She did the Merry Wives of Windsor. Just make sure you turn off the music so you can hear them. :)

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to Murray Family farms this weekend for them to get their pumpkin. They had a couple of corn mazes, face painting, crafts, wagon rides, etc... It was a lot of fun, at least for the little ones. Payton is so pre-teen. She had a scowl the entire time. Here are a few pictures of the kids.

Soccer Weekend

Here are a few shots of the kids this weekend during soccer games. The girls lost 1-0 during a hard fought match. Poor Sadie cries after every game, she gets so upset. Zeke had a great game. He scored 5 goals and was all over the place. He tries so hard for his daddy. Zeke has only one game left next weekend and the girls have one more for the season in two weeks. Boy, it goes by fast!!

Vegas

Anyone who knows the Armijo family, knows they are huge gamblers. They love Vegas so when it was time to celebrate Grandpa Ted's 80th birthday, what other place to go than Vegas. Are large part of the family made it and we had a fun dinner and cake together. We spent some time watching Teddy's grandparents gamble. His grandma puts money in the slots so fast that she breaks a sweat. It is hilarious to watch. We had fun and got to go visit Spencer and his little crew. They are all so cute. I wish I had some pictures of that. Needless to say, it was a fun getaway and we didn't do too bad, but it is hard to loose a lot when you play a nickel or quarter at a time!!
