This Xmas we had an amazing time getting to ski for the first time with the family. Our dear friends hooked us up with a fun trip to Sierra Summit and we took the whole family. We were there for four days and actually skied for two. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. By the end of the second day Sadie and Payton were going down the green runs with me. I am such a rookie. They put me to shame. Zeke finally made it down the bunny hill and learned to PIZZA!! Payton was so funny riding in the lifts with because I am terrified of heights so I am clenching on to the bar so tight. She was just chillin' looking around. I kept telling her to hold still!! Sadie on the other hand got on the first time and about two minutes into it big tears started running down her face. She was so afraid. So, I had to be the adult and act like I wasn't scared to death. I kept talking and telling her to watch the skiers. We made it up okay and by the top she was fine. I think I am getting used to the lifts too. I still don't like it though!!!
