update
Well, it has been awhile since I have put anything on of significance. Nothing going on much around here but school, soccer and work. The kids are busy getting ready for their fall Magnet production so stay tuned for pictures. We have three more weeks of soccer. I am getting a bit tired of having to have practice etc. but we are doing really well. My little team is in second place and continues to surprise me. We beat an undefeated team this past weekend with Payton scoring an amazing seven goals. The referee came up to me at half time and asked me to please put her in the back. I had already put her at goalie. I told him "I can't put her much farther back than that!" Sadie is quite the little defender. She gets frustrated with Payton doing all the scoring but we keep trying to tell her that we can't lose if she is stopping all the goals. She seems okay with that. She is so competitive with Payton. Little Zeke has a joke for a team. Out of the eight players on his team only two showed up for the game this weekend. The coach and I had to call the parents and guilt them into bringing their kids. We ended up having five to play. It is sad that people make this committment and then just bail on it. What an example they are setting for their kids!! He is a trooper out there and reminds me of my dad. When he gets frustrated he puts his hands on his hips and cocks it to one side just like dad does. It is pretty cute. Miss Caelyn is just a busy body. She is everywhere the kids are and thinks she is the same age. She is quite the talker these days. Work has been busy for me. We have had our ICU full with patients in the wings and they keep coming. It is always some kind of drama. Teddy calls it the gossip shop because he says we thrive off other peoples misfortunes. I think it just interesting and somewhat tragic how people behave and live out there. Thank heavens for the upbringing we have. Lastly, we are getting ready for the big halloween party here. All are welcome on Halloween night to join us. We have the crafts lined up, food, music, games, trick or treating etc..... I think the kids are going to have a blast. I know I am putting it together. Let's hope the weather holds up. Well, so much for the update. I will have pictures soon.
